Hi
I operate a gifting service from which we ship items for customers for delivery on specific dates. having bought the full version, is their anyway that I can get people to enter the date on which they want the products delivered when they select the delivery address?).
Any help would be appreciated
regards
Simon

Yes, I did it on my web site and it's very practical.
Althought, it would require custom codings into sub routines, CSV files and element files in order to add this in. If you take a look at my web site, add something to the cart and observe the ' date ' and ' time ' option in the checkout form.

Hi Simon,
Why don't you just this up as a product option?

tg1979,
By doing so, it would appear at the end of the paper (and no break paragraph has been done yet - which means, all product options are sticked together). It wouldn't be very professional to present dates with other product options choices wouldn't it ?
Which is why, from my site, I added the date & time within the checkout form. It is presented with the other checkout choices in the middle of the bill.

I would like to do this. Where are the dates stored so I can more. There aren't that many field boxes available. Is there a way for me to put a list of dates in a csv?
Thanks on replying.

There's no good way to do that with the additional information field... 365 days in a dropdown box would be ridiculous. The best bet would be to just make it a text field.

ok. but where is the text field stored. What CSV?
Thanks

It will be stored in the tracking table (tracking.csv if you're in CSV mode) in the custom variables (tracking_customone, tracking_customtwo, etc).
