Is there a way to place Different Meta Tags & Page Titles for Each Product?

We want to submit each individual product page to the search engines. Since they can't really spider a dynamic site have the ablity to do this would be nice.

The realistic answer is no.
You can create html pages with links to make purchases from though.

The static meta tags, esp. the <title> tag, are in the search engines! It makes it look like I'm offering the same content on every page. I could use a mod for this one.

The fields I would want to use are already there. They'd just need to be called so they'll come up.
This is how I'd invision it:

<title>$sitename: $Category: $Product: </title>

<meta name="description" content="$Category_description: $prod_description">

(The Category & Product fields would only appear when applicable)

I know I make sounds easy, and it is probably more work than I imagine. But anything you can code up for this would be greatly appreciated.

Try removing the <TITLE> tag from the site layout and add it to your product and category descriptions. I'm not sure if it will work if the <TITLE> is not in the <HEAD>, but it's worth a try.

Sorry, the search engines will ignore it if it's not in the header.

I'd be willing to pay for this as a custom mod if it's at all possible to do.

I second that. This really is a huge issue. In fact it matters so much that I will have to dump Click Cart Pro if I don't sort it out.

Google did a massive sweep and now had very different algorythms. Without product specific titles I am loosing a huge amount of hits.

The software is no good if there are no customers to use it.

I expect that I could have another 600+ hits per a day with this. In english... money.
