Valid input in forms

Is there any way to make sure that the users input valid information in the name, phone number, etc?

I don't want to break international support by making it too strict, such as xxx-xxx-xxxx for phone number, but right now you can enter a first name in "Name", a last name in "Phone", and a phone number in "email" if you wanted to.  This is no good.  What would I have to do to fix this?

Re: Valid input in forms

That requires a code hack. I could probably do it but not sure how long it'd take.

Re: Valid input in forms

Yes, but what exactly would I have to change?  I have seen posts before where Nick has said, "You'd have to edit XYZ.pm to do this."  I don't need anything that complicated, just need to know where I could put the code.

Thanks
