modifying web site

I don't know notin, no how, but I'm setting up this shopping cart on my web site anyway.  So far it works, but I have changed little and would like it to more closely match the mother site.  Specifically the bright blue banners at the top and bottom.  What would happen if I replaced them with my own "site_img1.gif" and "site_img2.gif" or even it I just deleted those 2 images?

That's right! That's how you change it to look like you want. The data/html/elements_header.db is the file that makes up the top and left side of the page. The footer makes up the bottom, dah, and the center "body" portion is made up of the data/html_db. these are the pages you call up.
These three files make up all the pages.
