Under System / Component / Settings / Security, adjust which user groups are subject to device auth (2FA) by adjusting the User Groups Requiring Device Authorization setting.
Please note that device auth is there and on to protect you. It might be inconvenient entering a code if you don't login once every 30 days, but it protects you against malicious users logging in who may have compromised or otherwise obtained your login credentials. I highly recommend leaving it as it is and dealing with the inconvenience, no matter how secure you think you are. Heck, your self-hosted, so you lack a bunch of the protection that we run server-side here on Kryptronic Managed Hosting to identify and handle suspicious activity. So this little warning goes double for you.

I'm not sure if that's in the docs or not, but yes, the time limit is 30 days. As long as you login on that device once every 30 days it will continue to be authorized.

Thank you for that. You are quite right. Many, many features are not documented. We're working on a new website for kryptronic.com right now that has an extensive online manual and features list that are integrated with each other so it's easy to find out all the features you have available and learn how they work. It will be out soon enough. We need to get 9.5 released and client upgrades underway before we get to our own site launch.
