Customer complaint about your site

I am trying to find ways to improve the customer experience and would love to hear from other Kryptronic users.

1. Customers complain why they have to input their email address twice, (I know the reason; however, they dont on other sites)
2. For UK customers, the "County" is no longer required by any couriers. Yet that's another step they have to click through.
3. My payment never went through, and I have tried multiple cards.  (Not sure on this one but it is high with us as far as customers complaining.)

If anyone else can add to these, please do, as we all want the same thing: a truly great customer experience.

Thanks for posting this.  These are some good/common gripes.  It's funny how it's somebody else's problem when a card doesn't go through.  Usually the wrong billing address with AVS on.  Anyway, I'd like to see what others say and we'll get some new features in the software as a result.

I have thought the checkout process was a bit dated for awhile so I have ripped it apart to make it quicker and less prone to user error. Absolutely no disrespect aimed at nick or the software as the checkout process functions great, which is the most important factor. Revamped site hasn’t gone live yet, so don’t know if it will help sales.

I’ve added social logins - Facebook, google and apple as well as one time links via email.
Reduced the number of steps from cart to payment by changing the login process.
Added option to create account during guest checkout, so removed guest/create account options and combined it in one.
Added improved postcode search whilst removing country, state prov, etc
Currently adding w3w info to all orders. W3w is grabbed during postcode search. Our couriers are using w3w a lot now.
Added google map from postcode search.
Added Apple Pay and google pay.
Probably loads more I’ve forgotten about!
