Featured product display control
Where can I enable/disable which slots (from 1 to 5) appear on the opening splash page please?
Could I have more than 5 slots (I may not want to show all 5 at any particular time though)?
Are the number of products displayed in a slot limited to 20 (I cant seem to get more)?
Can I control the product display order in each slot (under the product you can define the sort order number but I would like to have a different order from the slot featured display to the display under acategory but cant seem to do it)?Many tks - Paul

To disable a slot, simply don't assign any product offers to it and it won't show up.
There's a maximum of 5 slots, but technically more could be added with a custom job. 5 should be enough for nearly all sites, though.
The number of products is limited to 20 for each slot to ensure pages load quickly.
The sort order used is the sort order assigned for the offers in general category lists - there is no special control just for the featured lists.

Thanks Nick - its not so difficult keeping in with how it is implemented now but could you consider the following for the guture please?
enable a sort option for the 5 slots please? this means that if I have slot 1 as a summer set of product options and slot 2 for autumn set of products I could just swop the slots for summer and autumn at the appropiate times. The same would go for product sort option in for each slot so products could be swapped arround to make it slightly a more dynamic presentation - I would even think of a dynamic product display option based on day of the week or AI derivation but thats probably going a bit to far into the future right now Thanks
