What reason/s would there be for an order to show as unpaid when we have a confirmation that it has been paid for on worldpay?
We have a worldpay email confirmation but the order confirmation email has not been sent..

This is rare, but generally we find it is when the customer has left their browser on the payment page for a few hours before completing the payment.
Look at what time the order was started in K9 and the time the worldpay payment was made.
If there is a time difference, that is probably the issue.

This. It happens every once in a while. WorldPay uses a timestamp on the order and it needs to be somewhat current.
