I want to translate the shopping cart into german. Many strings I found and could translate.
But which file contains the text information from the checkout page like Order Totals, Billing Information and so on?
I made changes in apps/ecom/ECOM/includes/ordersummaryxhtml.php and ordersummarytxt.php, but there was no change on the website.

These would probably be in the different includes which make up the checkout page.
Core-Private > apps > ecom > ECOM > includes
Then start looking through the files that start 'co'.
cototals.php and coshipinfo.php are a few you will need to modify.
If you scroll through the code of each file, you will see the header.
Depending on what software you use, you may be able to search the includes folder for instances of 'Order Totals', etc
