item missing from backend after new instal

Under system I am missing
Component
Database
Displays
Namespaces

Website I am missing
Component

Under Store I am missing
Component   
Shipping missing
Store Displays missing

What do I need to do to fix this?

Sounds like you're logged in as a user belonging to the 'Admin' group, instead of 'Superuser'.
