Is it possible on a product page where description etc is, to add a document pdf to be assigned to a product for a potential customer to open / download ? many thanks if anyone can answer this

In K9 this is a stock option, PDF download. In V8 it's best to upload the file somewhere then change your product description to include a link to it (standard href HTML).

NP. I edited your sig to remove all those links. Looked like spam. We generally get complaints from target sites on sigs like that, so please leave the links out of it. If you have a URL to reference in a post, please just put it in your post. Thanks.

It's gone. It had like 4 or 5 URLs in it. Can't recall what they were.
