Site Search
Where can we change the fields that the frontend site search uses to determine the results? For example, we might want to include the inventory Item id and the Vendor Item ID. Would it have any detrimental effect on the sites performance?

Look directly at the top of the {private}/apps/ecom/ECOM_Prod/ECOM_Prod.php file. You'll see two class variables that list out the columns searched, one for advanced searches and one for ajax predictive results (which is limited in comparisson to the advanced search columns).
