Admin Login Page Send Password Option - From Email source?
Where is the From email for the Admin Login page "Send Password" link stored? I need to change it and have been unable to find it.

No, not there. I've found it in the core_mail table in the database. Hopefully sorted now. Next challenge V9 - without any links to Joomla!

Sorry, I didn't realize you were asking about the admin version. That's not in the interface, but accessible via the database, as you found.
Removing Joomla? Best thing to do is just turn it off and then build your skin out as you see fit.
