Loss of Admin dashboard on new laptop

Hi

I've recently upgraded to a new laptop. I'm still using Mozilla Firefox (v46.0.1) as my browser. The screen resolution is set at the laptops recommended size of 1366 x 768. As far as i'm aware my site is using the latest modules for v8 Europacart.

Since the change of laptop I'm unable to see the right hand window (ie the dashboard on startup) when I go to the admin area. It works if I change the zoom level of Firefox from 100% down to 90%, and contines to be OK if I move it back to 100%.

Is there an easy fix so that I don't have to keep changing the zoom level of Firefox - suggestions of change browser not required :-)

Thanks

Terry

Re: Loss of Admin dashboard on new laptop

V8 has a weird way of generating those windows, especially on earlier versions.  Try dragging the browser window size down or up a couple of pixels instead of fooling with screen resolution.

Re: Loss of Admin dashboard on new laptop

I appear to have solved my problem. If you automatically hide the taskbar in desktop mode then the browser opens in full page mode and the problem goes away!
