I know you guys are busy with V9, but is their any plans to implement/update or current hacks available for the Googlebase (Google Shopping) Mod that would allow each product variation its own line in the feed file? Currently, we are getting warnings and errors in Merchant Center for the items that have variations. Many of our products have different UPC and product numbers for variations. Such as Red Large vs Red XL will have its own UPC and product number. Google does not accept a comma separated list anymore for these values as produced in the feed file.

Anyone else having similar issues? Any known work-arounds?

Where are you seeing a change where multiple GTINs cannot be passed as variations? I've not seen this requirement and after reading that article (mostly) I could not find this. Please advise.

In Google Merchant Center when they are submitted as a comma separated list they return an error now.
Also:
For each item, make sure that you've submitted the correct, valid value for the 'gtin' attribute or request a manual review to ask for an exception. If you request a manual review, you don't need to follow the rest of the steps below.

What if my products have more than one UPC?
Use the following guidelines when submitting UPCs:
Variant products: For products that have different UPCs for each variant of the item, such as size or color, submit individual product listings with one UPC per item. Be sure to link these items together using a common ID in the 'item group id' attribute.

We're going to have to address this somehow in V9. I'll do some research on it. The tricky thing is that the UPCs don't have valid URLs or product offer identifiers, so there's a question as to what to do there. I'm sure Google will provide guidance. Looks like a combination of group ids and is_bundle, etc. is in order.
