what should the Defualt Message sender be?

Re: System Dashboard > System > Mail > Mail Messages

It can't be blank of course. If I use my email address, when testing, the resulting email shows From: as coming from my email rather than the email address given on the contact form.

Enter as the following, including the curly brackets, to use the customer's email:

{SESSION:email}
