Just considering upgrading server...

Re: Php 7

Neither has been tested with PHP7.  It's brand spankin new.  If you get access to a server with PHP7, I surely would like to run a few tests with V9 on it.  Let me know.

Re: Php 7

In Version 9, will there be a way to export files out of the shopping cart into excel or quickbooks. iic? In Version 7 I can export orders with a completed status that have not been previously exported. I want to update to Version 9 from 7. I'm hoping to be able to export a subset of all completed orders. That is, I want to be able to export all completed orders of one particular type of order. Not all of the orders. Thank you. Re: Php 7

All the functionality you're referring to is available in V9, caraellen.

Re: Php 7

Nick, did you ever test with php 7?
Just tried and doesn't work:

Contact your server administrator and request that the mysql PHP extension be loaded at runtime.
File: /core-private/core/CORE/CORE.php Line: 470 Error Number: 256

Not bothered, but just wondered if you checked it out.

Re: Php 7

Yes, K9 is fully tested on PHP7 as of the production version 9.0.0 released to forum users like yourself in December 2016.  You'll have no issues on PHP7.

Just a note:  Update 9.0.2 is pending post to the central server any time now, and it's got a few items requested by users, but mostly it's got the items I've wanted to put into it, like new (modern) session handling, speed optimizations, security optimizations and a general optimization of the core.  Also moved to supporting a single URL due to recent Google changes and PCI requirements (https or http full time supported, not both at the same time).  9.0.2 has been benchmarked at 20% faster on the no-load K9 DEV install, don't know what it will do under heavy load, but definitely much better than 20%, because that's where a good bit of the optimizations were focused.  Prepare to update to 9.0.2 when it's released.  Will be worth it.
