Just pushed one week. That's the last change. I have a few extras I'm getting into the package, and I am waiting on final feedback on the Quickbooks integration. Between now and the 19th I'll publish links to documentation, full demos, etc. as they come online.

lol, I was only joking.

I know. We just keep making advances and having breakthroughs with this. I've got some final feedback I need on our QB integration, then we should be good to go. This thing is incredible.

I originally flagged up the shortcomings of the old QB .iif i/o system used by CCP and their new connector interface (https://forum.kryptronic.com/viewtopic.php?id=32676).
You asked me to raise a ticket on it and apart for an initial response have heard nothing more on the ticket. How are you testing your new code for the UK version of QB as I understand the US and UK versions are not quite the same?

Eagerly awaiting documentation release so I can start skimming through it in preparation for 2 upgrades and a fresh install.

@sdn: Upon V9 release we will have a module available named QBWC which uses the QuickBooks Web Connector to connect to desktop versions of QuickBooks. All Web Connector interactions (US, UK, different versions, etc) are the same, so we're confident this module will work for UK desktop versions. We specifically avoid using tax functions within QuickBooks to ensure all taxes are as calculated on the website. A QBOL module is planned as well, but will not be available at release. I intend on contacting you via the ticket system when building the QBOL module to do the testing with your account. The QBOL and QBWC modules will be inherently the same, with QBOL using different connectivity functions and output wrappers. Both use QBXML for actual data which will not change between the two modules. In other words, the QBOL module will take a day or two to finalize.

I thought the date Nick gave me in August would be the final date. Unfortunately 13 Months later I'm still waiting(patiently)

Yes shocker. Yet another changed release date. Here's an idea, maybe we should not make any more promises on the release date. Getting very frustrated.

I assume that QBOL means the online version of QB. We use the desktop version so will be unable to help on that one unless we get an OL demo version but then I expect you can get a demo of the same and test directly. We are however happy to assist if you wish as we have used QB for nearly 20 years so know our way around it.

Hi all
Whats the holdup on this now? I'm trying to schedule in upgrade dates and times for this and it keeps moving further forwards. I cant upgrade the crappy skin I currently have till I get this new version.

Seriously. Another push back. How many times do you think you can get away with it and retain customers. At this point I I'm looking at a realistic release date of this time next year. I can't wait any longer, I have two websites currently using version 8 and another waiting for version 9 so I can get products on the internet, you suggested I wait so I have, very patiently until now. It seems we keep hearing the same excuses...we found something we wanted to add into the core that will make it better and didn't think would work well as an update in the future.
As mentioned before, if I could get my hands on documentation to learn the process of adding items I could at least get a jump start.
Also, to my recollection you have not even posted pricing except to say it is on par with what we would expect. How can we request money from the budget if we don't know hiw much to ask for.
Come on already, hire some help and get this thing out to the masses. It has to be costing you money as well.
I'm almost to the point at looking for something else even though I don't want to.
-End rant!

Are you guys serious at all?. Just keep pushing date as if we do not have alternatives.

Would have thought it would be better to over estimate the completion time, then if its ready earlier its a bonus! Can you at least release the docs so we can at least learn how to input products?

@all: Finally a proper lynch mob is forming. How did it take so long? Seriously, though, we ended up with a much different, better platform than was originally planned, and it has taken much longer and cost much more to produce than anticipated. All this translates into you getting more out of this release. We are in the final throws of getting the accounting modules out the door. I am doing an install for client zero this evening which is going to synch several thousand transactions that rolled into V9 over the course of the past few weeks with his QuickBooks. Fun stuff. Nothing has been left on the table here.

The lynch mob are set to be released on 29th September. I repeat, the lynch mob will definitely be released on 29th September.

I'm just going to leave this here....

Eh, what? Did I nod off and miss the launch?

2 days to go, will we see a launch? taking bets here in the UK now (calculating odds at the moment) lol!

Next Date?? My money's on October 10th

And Zanart wins the prize. Great minds think alike. It would have been ready, but final testing on the QuickBooks Web Connector module ran over by about 2 weeks. There's a success story in there, though. Two nights ago I ran an import with 40 days worth of transactions from client zero's site into QuickBooks using the web connector. It processed over 19,000 requests in 2 hours. Data came in beautifully to the accounting system. All inventory, accounting and discount items, taxes, customers, guest customers, orders, credits, payments, etc. It's ready for primetime! Will take a few more days to get the final documentation in order and get the public launch together.
For those of you interested in documentation, it's coming along. Here's some development-quality documentation that's being adjusted and added to daily. Only really good to share on the forum, but I know everybody wants something, so here you go. Links in red are old manual entries that were imported and are likely wrong or incomplete. Links in blue are good to go, but might need updates for a few recent changes to V9.

Please post any questions in their own threads. This thread is solely here to allow bashing of me over release dates. Thanks.
