Hi All
When I make alterations to my site. It is just that - I'm altering a live site. Therefore, any mistakes I make are visible to the world. Is it possible to set up a second version of the site that can be hidden to the rest of the world without breaking any copyright/license issues?
If so, how is it done?

Yes. Submit a basic support ticket with your license key in it requesting that a dev key be set up and issued to you. That dev key can then be used to build/run a dev copy of your site.
