Remove Image Verification
Is it possible to remove the image verification on the contact us form?

You could trying changing the core.contact.verify in the core_formfields table.
Just change the form it is associated with(contact) to something else, and then check the contact form to see if it has gone.
or you could change the field type to hidden and required to 0.
