Contact for email format

Hi - how can I add some margins to the email sent by the contact form? As it stands now, the content of the email is in a table and that's fine, but when replying, there are no margins at all and the reply sits at the very edge of the page. We have to TAB over for each line to get it out in the page area like the original content. This is something that we have not encountered in previous versions of CCP.

TIA

Re: Contact for email format

Sounds like more of an issue with the email client on the reply, but regardless, you can adjust the style of the mail message by updating the CSS at the top of the file {public}/skins/MailMessage/skin.php.

I receive a contact-form email generated from my old version 6x software, reply to it, and the reply is placed inside the html wrapper. I receive a contact form email generated from the new version 8x software, reply to it, and the reply is placed outside the html wrapper. I don't know of any setting anywhere in my email client that would differentiate between the two. I use the latest stable Thunderbird on Windows.

When you view the source of the V8 message, does it look correct?

It looks correct as far as I can tell. If you want, go here and send me a contact message. I'll reply, and you can see what's going on:
