Issues with mod_security and submitting php/mysql?

Recently I've noticed that mod_security blocks you when you attempt to submit sql to the raw database admin, or when you submit php code using the product detail display.  Does anyone have experience with this, or do you know how to prevent it?

I would assume the issues are with post data containing unacceptable content.

Sorry for the late bump, but do you have any suggested settings to allow the admin to work with mod_security?

I think that's a more general question for the Apache crowd.  How do you get mod_security to work with forms which post PHP and SQL code?
