Displays for Sub Category

Any one  know if I can do this and how.

I have numerous category and sub categories and I would like to display the image of each category, but when I do this the images exceed the page area.  I like the image at 400 px wide because it is illustration work  and with product info it looks good....but would like it to be smaller when used as a sub category.  Can I change the code and where do I change it.  Thanks

Re: Displays for Sub Category

Under Store > Component > Settings > Categories, edit the 'Image Width: Category Images' setting and set to whatever size you want.

Re: Displays for Sub Category

Yes I understand that, but I am looking to change the sub category image size, that is the global setting.  When you have a category for example of  Glasses (so you have 156 different styles),
so I have a sub categories of  tall, wine, etc,
then another category of  colors,
I want the Glasses as a main category - all good
then a  drop down of style of glass with description - all good
then I want the 8 different sub categories here as photos without descriptions to be able to fit within the page which they do not, so it is the sub category of a category I would like to control.

Re: Displays for Sub Category

Create a new product list display type for your glasses products (Store > Store Displays > Product List Displays), and in there adjust the image display.  Then assign the glasses category to use that product list display.
