Tax is not up to date
I noticed that my state tax was not charging the proper rate of 5.3% tax. I looked under System Dashboard > System > Component > Settings > Tax Settings, and have the correct state marked but do not see where I can write in the rate. Can anyone tell me where to look?

Look in System Dashboard > System > Locations > States and Provinces Go to your state and click update and on of the tabs will say tax information. You can set it there plus the shipping tax too. I think - I am still learning too.

I just realized that as a result one of the recent updates that sales tax for the state of Washington had been changed to 6.5%. It should be 9.5%, so for months we have been undercharging tax and now have to make up the difference out of our own pockets. Why was this rate ever changed? This was a very costly mistake for us....
