Tracking control Problem

I received and order and I can't get that order to put it as COMPLETED, even when I do so, it still appears as Not COMPLEted, besides, if we enter that order in the trackin order form we get and Invalid tracking ID...

Ensure that the permissions are set to 0777 on the directory: ./data/tracking and all the files and sub-directories.
