Digital Downloads
Hi,
I'm not entirely comfortable with the ClickCart approach to digital downloads.
I would prefer it if each download link emailed to the customer was unique to that customer and that after the download link has been used it cannot be used again (deleting any copies sent to the public directory for this customer).
It would also be useful to have an option to be able to override the status when a download link is sent, so for example it could be sent with order status Pending.
I don't see any easy way of doing this, so possibly future enhancements?
Anyone other users think these would be good features?

Another useful function would be an automatic update to the order that the download has been downloaded.
I don't see this feature anywhere and have been used to it in my current ecommerce package. It helps when a customer says that they haven't been able to download the file.

Thanks for the comments. I've been wanting to update the download system for quite some time now. We had it on the list for the last major release, but it got pushed. This will be a priority with the next release.

Please make it a priority, this is very important to people that have spent a lot of time making products to sell and not have a secure way to deliver them.
