How to control what shows up on the "Store" page
The mysite.com/subdirectory/Store page is used by the system to display similar content to what used to be the site splash page before the upgrade. Now the splash page is being controlled by the slots system, and I am trying to figure out how to modify the / Store page content.
This page is being displayed from the store home link from the main store menu
Anyone can help pls?

The store splash page is a static page that shows any categories and items that you have set to display on the store splash page (under manage categories and manage products). There were no changes to this logic from v7 to v8.

Check that the CMS (Website) component has it's 'Component Default Status' set to true, and it's 'Component Default Namespace' set to 'Web Page' under Website > Component > Settings. That should clear up your issues with the default component and namespace being assigned incorrectly in your setup.
