Some catigories have add to cart - need to kill

Hello!

Many customers are getting confused on our site because of a mini "add to cart" function that shows up under some categories. This mini add to cart lets user select the quality thy would like and add the product to their cart or wishlist with out clicking on the item detail. Under item it says:

Enter a quantity for each item you would like to add to your shopping cart or wish list then click the 'Add To Cart' or 'Add To Wish List' button at the bottom of the listing to proceed. All required fields are marked with a star (*).

The reason this is causing confusion is the products that have multiple size optoins do not list a price in the small product summary. Curiously, many of the categories don't have this "add to cart" feature.

I would like to know how to turn this off site wide. Thanks!

In admin under Home > ClickCartPro > Catalog: Categories, Products and Options > Manage Online Store Categories set the "Product Multi-Add Indicator" field to False. You probably have it set to True for the categories where you are seeing this.

You may also want to check the product display type (Product Display Type* field) for the categories that display the add to cart button, chances are you have a display that allows the buttons selected.

Re: Some catigories have add to cart - need to kill

Well it worked! It took both of your inputs.

First I had to change the Product Multi Add-indicator to "False," but this just added a "add to cart add to wish list" button under each product.

Next I changed the Product Display Type to be "Image and Description"

Worked like a charm! No more confused customers!!

Thanks so very much for your help :-D
