Creating a shadow installation
ClickCart 7.1.1
My normal method of operation is to have a working copy of our website on a local server where I can make changes, updates, etc, and test them without disturbing the public server.
The CC license seems to make this mode of operation not an option for the cart. Is this correct?
Is there a way to install a local, backup, cart without purchasing another license?

I too prefer to have a development environment in which to make changes prior to deploying to production.
Do we have to pay $50 for a support ticket in order to get a development license?

No, you do not need to pay the fee. Just submit the ticket for this.

Our local server is an old OS/2 system. Remarkably CC installed with very little difficulty. It did require changes to the code in 3 places to properly set the include path delimiter, that was it.
Are you interested in such changes?
