Moving the shop
Hi
We would like to move our shop (website) from one folder to another. On the same server (host). Would you please send me a link or instruction on how to do it in the safe way. OF course I will take a back up before but if you can sent me step by step instruction that would be helpful.

Simply move the entire contents then run the installer to update the physical server paths and URLs as required. Nothing more complicated than that required.

Dave,
I'm about to move the shop from one server to another. I've been away for a month and did not get around to updating to 7.1.5, so that I could fix the FedEx problem. Can I move the entire store and THEN use the upgrade/installer? Would that update the paths and urls AND fix the FedEx thing?

Yes, that will work. Make sure to update your permissions when you move it.
