css

Hi
I've been changing the skin of my site using the all.css page. I've done OK, but I cant identify the tag to change for the menu and location section that appears below the product name or part of the store you're looking at.

I've done as suggested and created a new product to get the skin right with, but I'm slightly worried about what other fields, not shown on the product page, will be affected by my changes without going live with it all.

any help greatly appreciated.

Thanks
David

Re: css

David, do you use Firefox?  If so, google "Developer's Tool Bar" and install the plugin.  It adds a cool toolbar to Firefox that allows you to edit the CSS within the browser pages.  I use "Edit CSS" to tinker (it does not make any changes live on the site, you have to C&P the file into your all.css file and save once you're done tinkering) and you can also select "View Style Information" from the menu which gives you a very handy tool to hover over a section of your site to find out what CSS is controlling that section.

I find the plugin invaluable in editing CCP.  You can make the edited CSS stick while you navigate throughout the site to see if there are other things you missed -- and there will be.  For some strange reason section headers throughout the site are controlled by different style sheet sections even though they render the same.

Re: css

You'll have to ask Kryptronic. Most of the CSS identifiers and selectors are pretty self explanatory really and a lot of them are used in more than one place (of course).
