Installing 7 what are my paths? HELP!!!!
"The following errors were encountered while attempting to process your request: 1. The webserver filesystem path you entered for the Public Directory Path does not exist. 2. The webserver filesystem path you entered for the Public Directory Path is not writable via the webserver process. 3. The webserver filesystem path you entered for the Private Directory Path does not exist. 4. The webserver filesystem path you entered for the Private Directory Path is not writable via the webserver process."
We are getting the error above, I have created the new folders in the root directory but it does not seem to want to find them. I have also tried using different folder names
I know i have failed at the first hurdle ....please help

The paths needed are the complete/full physical paths on the server. If you aren't able to determine what they are it's probably easiest/quickest to ask your provider for them. If you have the correct paths then notes 2 and 4 likely apply. If the directories in question don't have their permissions set to 777 try changing them to 777 and see what you get.

Hi there well i have managed to install the software but now I am having a problem login to the admin area

I could not use the smtp email option on the setup, but i don't think that should be any ideas

Contact your webhost and ask them, they should be able to assist you, since it's different for every host, we can't really guess what it is.
