Installing CCP7 into root directory

My CCP6 is currently installed into the root directory.  The installation Wiki says not to install as an "overwrite" but into a different directory but I want the new version to be in the root also.  How do I accomplish this?

Re: Installing CCP7 into root directory

Install it in a separate directory, follow the Wiki instructions to import everything from CCP 6, test everything out then remove 6 from the root and move 7 up into the root when you're ready to go live.  6 and 7 can't reside in the same directory at the same time.
