Are there any documents/guides etc available on the subject of developing skins for CCP7?

There is a wiki for v6 here http://wiki.kryptronic.com/CategorySkinning i beleive it's not too disimilar to v7 so would be a good place to start

Thanks for the reply!
I guess what I'm after here (for CCP7) is something along the lines of what you see on some joomla template examples, where they have an outline of where a specific "area" would be on the page - like the header, sidebar, menu and user_x panels that joomla has (just as as example).
I guess nothing like that currently exists?
Are there any demo's of restyled CCP7 skins out there?
Cheers,
Rob

It really doesn't matter if a site is V6 or V7, the look may be changed completely regardless of the version.
We're working on a large custom job that, when completed, will not be recognizable as CCP. Virtually anything is possible with CCP.

Hi,
Thanks for the replies again.
If it doesn't matter if a site is v6 or v7 as far as the skinning capabilities go, can I take it that the structure of the html output by the system has not changed between versions?
I notice that the templates (that I've looked at) are table based layouts, although I have read posts on the forum here about table-less layouts, or at least elements of the layout being table-less.
Is it possible to get rid of tables from the structural layout of the site entirely (using them purely for tabular data where needed)?
Cheers,
Rob

You may do as you please with things Rob. The basic structure didn't really change between 6 and 7 though styling element names did.
There's really no reason to remove the use of tables but you're welcome to if you want to.
