Custom ship method service type export to Sage

Hi Guys,

I'm plodding away with a relatively new implementation of CCP6, Connect for Sage and Sage 50 Accounts Pro. I'm also in the process of integrating a Royal Mail despatch tool 'Despatch Express', this requires various fields to be entered to allow a barcoded service and address label to be automatically produced from a thermal printer.

I'm running a custom shipping script in CCP with a total of 7 shipping services or variations depending on destination, weight and value of the goods. I'm currently unable to import into Despatch Express the shipping service (a 3 character identifier such as 'OLA' or 'SD1'), would it be possible to send this to a field such as 'Notes 1', which is part of the Sage invoice? I also need to send a total weight for the order to 'Notes 2' to allow the correct shipping cost to be calculated and barcoded by Despatch Express.

I expect the sending of these details will be a function of the Sage connector (Howard?) but the actual specifying of the 3 character code I would expect to be set up within the custom ship script, I would hope to be able to do this myself if I could find out how...any thoughts on this anyone?

BTW, anyone else using Despatch Express? Any thoughts or pearls of wisdom?

Thanks in advance
