Paypal Standard

When a customer gets to Paypal and cancels, returns to website, They get this error:
The following error occurred while attempting to process your transaction:
The URL that referred you to this page is invalid. It is not listed as a valid referring URL for the online processor selected.
If I change https: to http: on the return url, CCP6 sees it correctly and issues the "something wrong with the transaction"
The Paypal side was working fine with a 5.x version of CCP and no changes have been made on that side (hopefully)
Can someone give me a quick and dirty how-to for making Paypal standard work? Please..
Why would https://site/ccp0.php differ from http://site/ccp0.php? Is it a license thing?

This is the url Paypal Standard returns to and gives the error (This to cancel and successful payments)

https://www.papertopearls.org/store/rel … Bxxxxxxxxx

The following error occurred while attempting to process your transaction:

Anyone?

Re: Paypal Standard

I was having the same problem and found this in another solution. I went into the server admin and added the the equivalent of https://www.papertopearls.org as a site that can link to my site. It seems that this is caused if you are using a shared certificate. So you hosting company needs to be able to link to you. This fixed my problem for both the Cancel and the Return after completion of payment with Paypal Standard payments. Hope this helps.

Got this from host (hostrocket)
The problem there was due to the fact that you
have Hotlink Protection enabled and the securehost
URL hadn't been added to your allow list for
image calls.
