Recently, PayPal disabled the old verisign.com/payflowlink URL and made me use https://payflowlink.paypal.com. At the same time, my payment processor merged with another processor and upgraded their servers.
I'm now having problems with the successful payment processing getting back to CCP. the payment goes through okay, but customers get this error:
"The following error occurred while attempting to process your transaction:
A complete common gateway interface request was not received by the online processor. The request was missing all required parameters."
Therefore they think they haven't paid. I'm getting calls and emails. And in some cases duplicate orders and duplicate payments.
Paypal said two things. 1. I MUST use the Silent Post URL. 2. Newly merged vital/merchant e-solutions are having problems posting to https sites.
So I am at least able to get the customer's order into the Completed and Processing stage by enabling the Silent Post URL of http://www.supercapes.com/khxc/relay/ccp0.php. But they still get that lovely error that makes it look like something bad happened.
Is there anywhere else I need to change beside the URL in the ClickCartPro > Commerce: Orders and Checkout > Manage Processing Gateways > Verisign Payflow Link - Payment Form "Form Display Code" ?
Thanks!

I found a workaround. Mind you, this is not FIXED, but it works good enough.
I removed the RETURN URL from the Payflow manager configuration and left the SILENT POST to the http address. And then I added some "thank you for your order kind of verbage" to the Receipt Header/Footer.
This does several good things. 1. They don't get the ERROR PAGE - which was my original intent. 2. Since there's no RETURN URL, they get a chance to correct cc info if they've entered it wrong, like the CSC or expiration date. Before, if the transaction failed, they got thrown back to my web page, with no way to correct their mistake, and they often put the same order in again, resulting in 3-4 orders before they finally paid for one successfully.
The bad thing: 1. The "You're transaction was successful" page from Payflow doesn't take them back to my site, there's no way that I found to insert html in there to have a clickable link back, or a back to site button...

Hmmmmmmm..................
So what became of this problem? By the way did you change the "posting" URL to the Verisign "Manage Payment Method" page? Im having similiar problems however I havent checked the "Silent Post" option on the payflow admin panel.
Or did you deactivate the Verisign Method and use something else?
