A Little Help, Please...

This is a first - I'm posting to the forum for a little help from the community smile

If any of you have the time, please help us out by giving us a rating (and some comments would be great too) at a couple of the cgi resources sites.

Most every user I speak to loves the program, and by rating it you will not only help us out by increasing the user base and sales (of course), but you may end up helping out somebody else who's looking for the perfect script.

CGI Resources:  http://www.cgi-resources.com/detail/05457.html

HotScripts: http://www.hotscripts.com/Detailed/5535.html

ScriptSearch:  http://scriptsearch.com/details/6292.html

Any help is appreciated.  Thanks and have a great day.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

You are absolutly right, and I think the comunity will be happy that now they can rate the ccp5 in some other place than the FORUM itself.

Thanks

Re: A Little Help, Please...

I appreciate the feedback so far.

The one comment on cgi-resources puzzles me a bit - I think the program is fully customizable and shoudln't require a 'rewrite' to work.  It works just great for large businesses too.  Oh well - I guess everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

Anyone else have any opinions they want to include in ratings?  Thanks again.

Since I found you through Paypal I did not know you were on those boards, so thanks for posting that so that I could vote! Excellent across the boards.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Any one who has actually aquired ccp5 and using it knows that it works fine just as is, my guess is that the  comment on cgi-resources is most probably from a compatitor, as you can see from the reactions towards the software from the forum. Me personally have tried many carts, they all have some type of shortcomings, they are either too difficult and un versatile, or too expensive

I couldn't let Amp's comment go un-challenged. I just hope they post my comments. They should, I didn't blast him.

They posted the rating , but not the comment. I revised it and left the traitor's name out of the comment. Hopefully they will post the comment this time.

You others who are rating the cart, I admonish you to sign up with them so you can leave a detailed comment (much more effective) and only takes a minute. Look at what each other is saying and add something different. Don't all say the same thing. One can praise the shipping functions another the payment processors and so on. Let's help Nick out. He has delivered a quality cart for a VERY reasonable cost.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

I posted a detailed review on CGI-Resourses for CCP5 and gave it a high rating.  They posted the rating but did not post my review.  I have emailed them to ask them why.  I will let you know if I get an answer back.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

I just checked on CGI-Resources and they have posted a bunch of comments from people using CCP.  Looks like we pushed that negative comment off the list!  All comments are positive comments.  Good work!

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Sorry Nick,

We get so busy that we forget to read your board. If you ever need help with these kind of issues, please e-mail me directly  or put me on a mail list and broadcast it.

I wrote a couple of reviews and placed ratings in all three listed sites. Let me know if there is anything else we can do.

BTW... here is a number you may like. It's a testament to the success of your work.

Our CCP5 stores, (23 total CCP5 stores that we've built and currently manage.) grossed 1.4 million in sales for February.

Here are the top ten.

http://www.thedoctorspharmacy.com
http://www.collegeprepcoach.com
http://www.jdsmokes.com
http://www.whittenparts.com
http://www.aasmokes.com
http://www.vintagegolfcartparts.com
http://www.naturalbbq.com
http://www.highstreetstorage.com (backend order process for storage units)
http://www.skybilliard.com (backend order process)
http://www.zbilliards.com (backend - primarily from e-bay - 180 tables a week)
http://www.zbilliardcorner.com (under construction - primarily from e-bay - 200 orders a day)

and more...

So, the proof is in the pudding. You've built a product that has passed the ultimate test.... IT WORKS!!

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Your Fed Ex mod will be arriving shortly via UPS ground! ;>)

I just went to CGI-Resources, Hotscripts, and The Perl Archive and added reviews of CCP.  I encourage all the satisfied users of the cart to do the same.    Let's support our hero!

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Hi Nick,
If you want some real exposure, submit CCP5 to authorize.net for testing and see if they will put the cart on their "Approved Shopping Cart" list.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Actually working on it right now.  Thanks.  The CCP5 updated that's scheduled to be out ASAP will include all current certification requirements.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Congratulation Nick!!  See that you have made the Authorize.net "Approved Shopping Cart" list!  Very good promotion for you and your product.  I saw the listing on your home page, and checked Authorize.net and see that you are definitely listed on their site. Will be picking up another cart soon! Keep it up!

Re: A Little Help, Please...

Thanks.  Their certification process was stringent, but the end result was wild.  I'd use them if we weren't locked in on a Linkpoint lease for another two years...

Re: A Little Help, Please...

I just checked and we're at 40 votes right now on cgi-resources.com.  That's awesome!  I think we had 12 or 13 two weeks ago when I posted this.  I really appreciate the help.

Have been too busy for a while and just come back to this excellent resource, which Nike has done a great job in support all of us.
I just posted my comments and gave my rate of 10 to this wonderful CCP5.

Re: A Little Help, Please...

After six months, I'm bringing this post back from the dead.  If anybody has a few minutes to rate CCP on the sites listed at the top of this post, that would be awesome.  Thanks for the help...
