Hi
No.

Good point as I haven't done the update yet as I've been waiting for the dust to settle to see what problems we are liable to run into.
Also will the module be affected if the update is installed AFTER the module has been install?
Two other questions:
Will this module allow us to auto-send an email when I mark an order as completed rather than a day or so later (as in a dispatch notification).
Regarding the sales part of the module, will this allow us to print out new invoices in bulk?
Cheers

Both No, but we are looking at a advanced order module that would address those issues.

Does this module work for the CCP 6 standard edition? Or only for the UK edition?

It's specific to the UK version Lisa. There's something similar in the works for the US (and actually UK) version though.

Hi Lisa,
We are only allowed to sell this and or other modules to CCP6-UK/EU customers.

Could the UK team be drafted by the US team? The US team is pretty slow to release anything - then again, slow would imply they've actually released a module for 6.0

emma, type 'what is an .htaccess file' in google and you'll get a few good sites explaining what it is and where it is. (fyi: it's in the root of the site - it can be edited with a text editor (e.g. ms notepad))

We have the Marketing module recently installed. I am trying to find where it put the sitemap.xml file so that I can tell my google sitemaps account where it is. Anyone know?
Thanks
John

in your root directory so that google just goes to http://www.yoursite.com/sitemap.xml

Hi
I have had this module just installed - thank you.
I cannot see the parser working.
Now I am questioning myself if there ever was a parser in it!
As a marketing tool and also the fact the tables are called SEO, presume you have installed a php to 'pure' HTML parser.
I mean, it is very important and I would say it is most probably 70% of marketing for search engine crawlers.
If there is no parser, are you going to add it soon as an update? It just has to read the Description or the title of the page and make it the HTML file name.
I hope so, as I thought I was purchasing a search engine marketing tool - Feeds and Parser - the most important things on the NET.
Thank you
M
PS still a good tool

Hi clicketto,
Are you talking about this Xmod?
HDSEO: High Definition Search Engine Optimization:
This helps assure that you get the most out of every page on your site, by morphing your base URLs into search engine optimized custom titles. By giving the search engines a clearer picture of your offerings, you'll elevate your search engine presence and increase your traffic.

Hi
No, I am talking about the Marketing module I believed had SEO included (why callig it marketing modeul and it did not have 'proper' SEO automated parser), but now I have understood what is going on at ClickCartPro UK - it is called business!
Thank you for your kind replies west4 and Dave, Galpin seems not to reply to me anymore! If I like or not my customers emails I always reply to them - even if I may be fuming. Then I think, maybe I made a mistake and I did not realise it.
Maybe he does not like people when they tell things as they are.
Lets put it under the carpet for now.
Thanks Dave ('you' are always here helping!)

I'm not at all sure what you mean by "SEO automated parser". Could you please explain what you mean by that?

FWIW Howard has been on holiday and will be until the 9th.

Hi Clicketto,
Just looking at this again, did you get it sorted? I have my urls as the product code (just added some lines in the .htaccess file) I think it helped to have the Marketing Module installed, and can now change the Product names and Category names to a proper Metatitle if this is what your looking to do let me know.
Cheers,
Bruce.
