Related Products - Options
I have a product, marking pens for x-ray film. I have a related product, refills for marking pens. Both have color options that are required. If refills are displayed, color option is required. If pens are displayed with refills as a related product and I select to add the refills to my cart, I'm not required to select color. The same is true if you have refills displayed with pens related, you are not given the opportunity or requirement to select the color of the related item.
How do I fix?

A search through the fora here will reveal that related products which require an option should not be used as there is no opportunity to select an option available. I'm fairly certain Nick posted that (quite a while back). It's not something you can fix.
