Search feature by product numbers

Hello,

My search engine works fine for most all keywords of my items, except for when I search by my product numbers.

Here is my site wwwsweetiesart.theonly1.net/khxc/index.php
Ex.: Search product number ES-0001, or ES-0002, it will not pull up.

Does any one know how I could make it search by product number

Thanks
Tram

Re: Search feature by product numbers

Are you putting the sort option in when adding a product? In your search are you putting in a price range that includes the product?
If you do both it'll work.

Re: Search feature by product numbers

I have been able to get this type of search working by using the number as the Product number but you must omit the -.

For example your item ES-0001 should be entered as ES0001 the search should now work correctly even with the advanced search price range set to 0.00.

The strange thing is that within the KHXC database management search it will find any occurrences of ES-0001. I believe this matter is being addressed by Nick and the front end CCP6 search criteria may be relaxed in the new update.

Having to put in a price range for what may be a simple search requirement is really a big NoNo.

Re: Search feature by product numbers

The search is being loosened up to include 'greater than or equal to' and 'less than or equal to' logic for the price parameters.  Currently it only uses 'greater than' and 'less than'.
