page numbers

in CCP6, is there the page number feature at the bottom of each page of products

i.e.

<<Previous | 1 | 2 | 3 | Next>>

which is basically the pagination mod from ATS, but i understand that they don't do this mod on CCP6 yet??

is this already a feature of ccp6, i cant see this from the demo site because there aren't enough products for more than one page to appear

if anyone who already has the new version can just reply?

thanks

Re: page numbers

Yes there is but is does not have the <<Previous/Page Next>> feature, just the numbers.

A view of all itims on my site wwwdjshopper.net shows:

A total of 5,023 items are available. You are currently viewing page 1 of 101.

Pages: 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 >> 101

One problem with it is the page you are on is not highlighted in the list.

Maybe Nick will correct this omission?

Re: page numbers

Thanks alot for confirming that

Regarding the highlighting, i suppose this could be done with the css, becuse the page you are on isnt hyperlinked, so changing the colour of hyperlinks on the site or maybe even that element would make the non-hyperlinked number stand out.

I think i would require the page numbers at the top of the pages aswell, dont know if its an easy task though, doesnt look as easy as it was in ccp5.1

and i suppose if the page number is highlighted the "next" and "previous" links aren' required, but they would still be usefull for customers

maybe nick could shed some light on this?

Re: page numbers

The page you are on is not hyperlinked.  If the hyperlinks were bolded in CSS it would be more apparent in the listing.

Re: page numbers

Is there a way to change the way the, "You are currently viewing page 1 of 7...." area? That shows up at the bottom when viewing items in cart. This would even be handy when working with items in the control panel to make changes to an existing product.
- I would like to be able view more than just the 1 through 7... then it drops off and if you have hundreds of images then you have a long way to go to get to the ones you want unless they are at the very begining or very end. Maybe 1-50 or 1-100 etc...

Re: page numbers

You can change the display of the navigation here:

Home > ClickCartPro > Displays: Skins, Menus, XHTML Includes and Messages > Manage XHTML Includes

Edit the second 'Product Index Nav Display' item listed there.  It's incorrectly named (I have to fix that).  It's id is 'prodnav' and it's description is 'Displays the product result set navigation links.'.  That include basically works of an array called $navarray that has all the links in it.
