Email failing to get to customers

Hey All!

We've been experiencing an interesting problem. About 20% - 30% of our customers are claiming that our confirmation emails are not getting to the customers. I have ran several test and I have had no problem receiving the emails through the accounts that I have used. My thought at the moment is more of a spam filtering issue.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone have a suggestion to get beyond this point? It has gotten much worse in the last 8 weeks.

Thank,

John

Re: Email failing to get to customers

You might want to check if your IP has gotten blacklisted.  This happened to us for some reason last year.  I had to submit some forms on comcast's website asking them to take care of it (they were our internet provider at the time) and it was cleared up shortly thereafter.

Re: Email failing to get to customers

I've had a continuing problem for version six and version 7 with the same problem.  Our problem is that the download messages (electronic distribution) doesn't get through but the confirmation message does.

And by the way, I can generate this problem pretty consistently.  Everyone says ... spam filter ... but actually it is not that.  I've tested it and seen that the email never seems to get sent.  php bug?
