Customization Help?

First off, thanks for such a brilliant and much needed program... after waiting months for a programmer to get started on our cart, I brought ccp5 and decided to do it solo.

Set up is going great, but I figured I'd ask a few questions before getting to far into the store setup, as I'd hate to have to change everything several times down the road.

We sell printing and have hundreds of items (business cards, postcards, etc.) and a separate product has to be created for each quantity that we sell (1000, 5000, 10,000)... add in all of the product options and there will be thousands of items that will need to be keyed in... I'm looking for a few short cuts or maybe just wishing out loud smile

1. I set up several non-dollar amount product options for product items... design/graphic options, text boxes for info, file info, etc. Is there a way to quickly assign these options to many or all products at once? How about the ability to create "product option" groups? Many of these separate options could be grouped into one single product option if I could combine different option values to use different form field types.... any suggestions? Again, the task of applying 10-15 different product options to 500+ products is going to be lengthy and I had to ask.

Here's an example of several different options

2. After selecting the above options I am looking to forward the script to another page where large graphic files can be uploaded to our FTP server.. I looked around for awhile and found a great cgi script that handles large file without timing out, but I have no idea how to incorporate it into the order taking process.. any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks again in advance and keep up the great work..... Billy

We're handling this with a tech support order right now.  Thanks for the order!
