When someone in tiki order a product (download product) they get the email with the link, username and password. But when you click the link it does not ask for the username and password it just starts downloading.
Something new or something not right?
I checked the admin and it is set with a username and password I even changed it and still click the link and it doesn't ask for usename or password anymore.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chris

Make sure you password protected the directory using something like Web Protect
You have to protect it using your website hosting control panel!!

That is weird I did not have to do that for 5.0

I had the same problem and if I remember correctly it was in the intructions that you have to manually protect that folder using your webhosts control panel using the same username and password as you used for Tiki . The tiki username and password you enter is only so tiki sends it out in the emails .
For security I plan to change that username and password often . However you can set the file download to expire in as little at 24 hrs . Personally I would rather limit that in hours but I will see how it goes .
